Foliage
Foliage is not a side product that is left over as waste when harvesting the Christmas trees. Instead own cultures based on especially high-value seedlings are created just for the purpose of obtaining foliage. It can be won every year by cutting the trees’ lowest quirl.
After having cut the branches they are transported to the Tannenhof where they are sorted and compounded into five kilo packages. The individual orders are easily handled by our employees who can work under roof and are thus shielded from any weather condition.
At the Tannenhof more than one million branches are cut, sorted and compounded every year!

Branches from the Nobilis can be perfectly used for all kinds of arrangements. As they show extreme fir persistence while being smooth and easy to handle these kinds of branches are becoming more and more popular among the florists as well as the consumers. They are based on a special selection of branches with firs that are silverblue coloured and bent upwards and can be used for demanding decorations, vases and funeral flower arrangements.
